it is NOT a SPAM!

I am truly disappointed that someone consider posting a message about
conferences on the
list is spaming. Please do not promote this terrible idea. The
assumption here is that
all professionals participating in this list are test and quality
would care to hear about a testing conference. As Dori Ann mentioned,
the list has
entertained messages on things that are totally irrelevant to testing
professionals. If I have the slightest idea that messages on
professional development are not welcome by participants, I would not
have posted my
message. If the list moderator would like to establish some use rules
to be adhered to
by everyone that would be acceptable. Let's not waste out time on
arguing this issue.

I am in complete agreement, but will take it one step farther - if Dr.
Hanna EVER contributed technical advice to this group (being a big-time
PhD and all), then it wouldn't be so irritating to see these countless
SPAMs for his conferences. If one's only purpose is to gain financially
by targeting a Rational audience, then he should take his crap elsewhere.
I am in agreement that Rational type training is much more acceptable to
I sent "Dr." Hanna an email asking him to stop (as he said he would if it
were bothering people) and he replied that he will not stop his spamming
practice (although he did use really big PhD words). What a putz!

I would have to say that I agree too. I am not going to get into this any
more than that, but I also have asked him to not make his post, only I
didn't get a response. I won't say any more as the last time I did, I got
very negative response. I will note that he has not posted anything since
the last time he posted about one of his things he had going on.
