The proof is in the pudding

I've made comments about the Rational sales and marketing floks before.
Here's some pudding to look into.
We've got a new contractor in to help us with some automated scripting. We
need another license of Robot for him to use. (Let's be legal and all that)
The boss calls up a sales rep. (Not the same old one because he found that
one to be inadequate) The new sales rep he finds most helpful. The sales rep
says that Robot by itself is expensive so we might consider using Visual
Test, the other test automation product that they have. You'd think it was
compatible wouldn't you? He was sure it would be.
He at least was trying to help. And he is checking to verify his statement
I like that word. "Inadequate". It applies to so many things so well.
