Limits on e-mail?
User (Eddie_Tipton@bluecrossmn.com) posted:
I was recently rejected by firstname.lastname@example.org in sending an
e-mail becuse it was too large. The text of the e-mail was 1429 characters
and it had a one page MS Word attachment. Is this REALLY too large?
The message they sent me back was ...
"Sorry, your message was not sent out to 'sqa-suite-users'
because it is
too large. The maximum message size is 50k, and your
message was 64k long."
Is there any guidelines as to how many characters in the body (with and/or
without attachment) falls within the 50k limit?

The way I understand how this stuff might work, attachments ARE part of the overall message body. So 50K is 50K. Split it however you wish, but you got just 50K.
