Warning: Win2k Service Pack 2 Breaks TestManager - ClearQuest Integration.
User Ian Blair (Blairi@btinternet.com) posted:
To save anyone else finding out the hard way, installing SP2 on Win2k will
break the TestManager - Clearquest integration (and who knows what else).
You will no longer be able to start CQ from TM nor will you be able to raise
defects automatically from the test log.
Of course, this is not a bug, it is just that SP2 is "not supported" by
Rational despite both updates (2001A) being delivered in May. So, if you
have a requirement to test your apps on Win2k with the latest updates -
Strangely, every other bit of software I use runs perfectly after SP2
installation. Am I alone in being of the opinion that Rational have a duty
to us, their customers, to produce and release a patch to fix this problem
as soon as possible?

Maybe we should do as Rational has suggested to me on several occasions and
call Microsoft and ask them to fix the problem so that Rational will work.
