Re: Testing dynamic links using SiteCheck

I'm also having issues with Rational Site Check. It reminds me of Coast
Webmaster, and it might be, I haven't looked into the background of the
    tool.

The problem I'm having is with the Active Scan. The web site in question
has a log in, which I'm using Active Scan to log into, but once I get to my
defualt.asp file, the scanning stops at that top level. When I open the
site to begin checking, I have the "Scan Entire Site" checkbox checked. Any
    ideas/suggestions? Thanks.

Re: Testing dynamic links using SiteCheck

According to Rational's site, SiteCheck does not work with dynamic pages. Dynamic Pages in SiteCheck

If you meant relative links, according to COAST's documentation [see below], relative links should work so long as the root URL for the site is specified correctly.

As for the login issue, have you tried setting the realms info? I've tried both this and Active Scan and logins seem to be working for me.

    -----------
    [general info:]

SiteCheck is based on software created by a company called Coast (www.coast.com). Check out this link for a user's guide on COAST's WebMaster (looks almost identical to SiteCheck):

    WebMaster User Guide

You may have to register for the download version of WebMaster before this link will work for you.
