Copying a project
User Catherine Saines (email@example.com) posted:
Please excuse this simple question. Our company just moved from 6.1 to Robot
2000 and am still not completely used to the new procedures. I usually have
one group of scripts that I use to test new releases of a large program and
in 6.1 had been creating new projects then copying all the old tests and
scripts into the new directories. This does not work for Robot 2000. When I
copy in the scripts they all seem to have to be initialized (recreated by
selecting file/new/scripts then opening the old file) before being run. If I
import the scripts then they are moved which I don't want to do and they are
empty and none of the verification points have been copied. There must be a
way of accomplishing this simple procedure.
Many thanks for any assistance.

after you created the project use TestManager to import the scripts.
Go to File -> Import Test Assets and choose the scripts you want to have
in the new project.
