For some reason now all the objects in my Power Builder applications are being identified in a very uninformative way which is breaking all of my scripts and I suspect it will ultimately make a lot of the automated testing we do very hard to follow. Does anyone know of a setting somewhere in the new version of Robot that could be causing this. I have went through every preference I know about with no luck thus far.
I have now gone through every preference and option that I was able to find within Robot and compared to my previous version with no luck ... I cannot find any differences. Could this be caused by something in Windows7? A security setting perhaps?
It makes automation of screen manipulations and validations almost impossible. I have some screens with dozens of elements and I typically store all element names and loop through them but now they have lost all of their properties except 'caption'.
