How to increase the delay between two commands in a script.
I have tried giving settime(value) but still its taking the default time.
Becoz of this im getting sever busy window when few lines of code is taking sumtime.
There should be a setting in the Robot settings/options dialog for this. I do not have a running version of Robot to find the setting for you so you will have to look for it.
Keep in mind this is a machine by machine setting. So when you set it for one machine it will be different on you other test machines.
A better method is to enhance the error checking in your code. I have worked with Robot for many many years and have never had a need to increase this time since I could error check within my code and make it work across all my test machines and environments.
If this or any response has helped you, please reply to the thread stating that it worked so other people with a similar issue will know how you fixed your issue!
I have used that settings in Robot's Tools Option. But its taking the default time only.
Im creating an excel instance in robot for importing a worksheet into a database. For this its taking more time as excel contains more data. This is the script that takes time to import: DoCmd.TransferDatabase acImport, "Microsoft Access", cMDB, acTable, "dbo_code_table", "Code",0.
When robot executes this line it has to wait for sometime. For this i want to increase the default time at this point alone to avoid the server busy pop up window.
