I am attempting to create a telnet session to a remote computer to send commands using Rational Robot. I am unsure how to create the session, authenticate my session (send username and password), and send commands through the telnet session once the connection has been made. If anyone has any ideas please help.
Re: Creating a Telnet session using Rational Robot
What types of things to you want to do on the remote computer? In the past I have used the Sysinternals tools from Microsoft to execute commands on another computer. You can script the PSEXEC command to launch applications on another computer so long as you have the proper credentials to do so.
