Issue Recording Citrix Test
I am recording a Citrix Test using RPT v22.214.171.124 through a Citrix Web Interface. I have engaged IBM Tech Support, and a Test Engineer from a consulting firm and cannot get a reliable answer.
The issue is when I follow the IBM Tech note for Testing via the Web Interface with my proxy settings off on IE7, I can connect to the interface, but when I select the actually application, the connection in progress bar freezes in the middle and hangs. When I cancel the request and close out the browse, a recording is generated that has the custom code element StoreICA included. I then try a new citrix test, select the 'connect through a web interface' option and point that to the recording I just generated, as the technote explains. When I select finish, a citrix window is generated with a big, 'ICA FILE CANNOT BE FOUND'
With my proxy settings for IE7 pointing to our company's proxy server, I can connect all the way through the application but when the recording is generated there is no custom code element. The IBM technote can be found here...http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docvie...id=swg21304803...
Our company tends to be security oriented and I'm wondering what environment variables could be causing this i.e. CA Siteminder, etc.; or if anyone has experienced this before.
Re: Issue Recording Citrix Test
I'm sorry, I just found out today that this is SITEMINDER PROTECTED. I'll be talking with the IBM Tech today
