    Re: How to change url?

    you can not get url from datapool.
    Before you recording the script,you can edit the list of
    application ,you can set your url there.
    Then you can start the application and reach the website whice you want to go .

    Re: How to change url?

    You CAN dynamically change the URL and pull those URL's from a datapool.
    For example:

    public void testMain(Object[] args)
    {
    ProcessTestObject YB_Browser = startApp("BlankBrowser");

    if (args.length < 1)
    { browser_htmlBrowser(YB_Browser,DEFAULT_FLAGS).load Url("http://www.yellowbook.com"); }
    else
    { browser_htmlBrowser(YB_Browser,DEFAULT_FLAGS).load Url("http://" + args[0]); }
    .
    .
    .
    }

    I've previously configured an application called BlankBrowser (kind:html, URL:about:blank).

    In this example, either the passed in URL or a default hard-coded URL value is loaded in the browser application.
    Several options are available around this basic code. The calling script could be accessing and/or looping thru a datapool of URL's and passing a URL as an argument. You could dispense with a calling script and access a datapool of URL's directly from this script. I have a hardcoded default URL - even that value could be stored more dynamically in a datapool with only one row - as the default URL value.

    Hope this is of value.

    Jim
