Functional Tester Checkpoints with Test Manager
I'm using TestManager(TM) from the enterprise disk V2003.06.16 with Functional Tester 7.0.0 (FT) and are working together so no probs there.
What I want to know is can I insert checkpoints or sync points into my FT code which on playback in TM displays that these points have passed or failed. I want these so I we can say that this point in the FT script has passed and can be traced back to the original manual script.
Re: Functional Tester Checkpoints with Test Manager
After test script has completed execution in Functional tester, the test log containing the pass or failed verification points can open up either in Iexplorer or Test Manager. To get the verification point results to be displayed on Test manager, the Functional tester project has to be associated with the Test manager project.
But the problem I'm facing here is that when a verification point fails, I am not able to view the comparison of the expected and actual result of that verification point on Test Manager. I was able to view that only on IE.
