Windows Taskbar black hole
I have found a black hole in Functional Tester - it does not seem to recognise the Windows taskbar.
I recorded a series of actions involving more than one window. This would not play back properly because at some point I had to click on the taskbar to bring to the front a window completely obscured by another. On playback this simply didn't happen so the script failed as the window was disabled. Subsequently I have been unable to get FT to record anything at all against taskbar clicks. This is a legitimate user action - what's the solution?
I am using the Java version of FT under Windows XP.
Re: Windows Taskbar black hole
I got an answer on the developerWorks forum suggesting I try activate() on the TopLevelTestObject for the window I want to bring to the front and it worked fine.
