Can we calculate the number of images in a web page?
I have a problem in calculating the number of images in a web page. I am trying to find out in a group of web pages whether we can find number of images in a web page. I have to find out in about 450 web pages whether there exists any image or photo and how many of them are there in the page. I have to publish a report which one of the web page has the image and number of images in each and every page.
Hope some body can help me out. I can use rational robot or robotJ as my tool.

Yeah, of course it can be done but I doubt you're going to find someone to do it for you. If you try it and run into problems we'd be glad to help you with specific issues to get you going again. You might also want to look into some applications that download the whole website, like HTTrack. Once you get it downloaded, you can scan the directories and get the information you need.
This is too big of a task to expect someone to answer. Also, this depends heavily on your specific application.
