Anyone with experience with testing a web-based application that would support multiple languages (and associated localizations?)

My primary concern is with language...

We came up with a pretty ugly approach:
- Record the script in 'English', and clean it up.
- Go through the object map, and set all text-based fields (.name, .text, etc.) and set the weighting to 0 (or close to it)
- This will allow the application to 'blindly' walk through the script in other languages...

- To supplement, probably use the old automation methods of CTRL-A, copy and dump into a file, and compare...

Any suggestions/recommendations? Our current mandate is to test English and French languages.
