Has anyone had problems with their scripts after upgrading from RobotJ to XDETester? I intalled XDETester, then re-enabled my environments (as suggested by the install guide). I then connected to an existing datastore (created using RobotJ). When I try to run scripts it seems like the scripts don't find the objects properly. From the object map, I tried to hightlight some of the objects, but the highlighting showed up in strange places (e.g. a textbox was highlighted on part of the screen where there was just empty space.)
Just wondering if anyone has had similar problems?
I also had the similar problems while upgrading.Either it gives different names to the objects or couldn't identify objects. The solution could be recapturing and renaming the objects in the map to make the script running.
Some more info. It seems like its not an upgrade problem, but rather a problem with the new XDETester. Even if I create a brand new datastore and a brand new script there are problems. The object map doesn't seem to be able to find the objects in the correct locations, it seem like they are offset.
The html in our application is generated by transforming xml using xsl and formatted using css. If anyone else's application uses a similar structure and is using XDETester, I'd be interested in hearing if it works.
I have also recently installd FT and I can't get any of my test objects to be recognized. FT doesn't appear to be recognizing any browsers or browser elements. I uninstalled, reinstalled to no avail. Has anyone solved this problem before?
