Testing UI Object properties by writing your own robotj script
Hi, I am thinking of writing my own robotj script to test certain UI Object properties (e.g. to see if a radio button is selected or a text field is grayed out.) I know this can be done with recording. But has anyone done this with writing their own scripts? I see the TestObject has a getProperties() API that returns a hashtable. So I guess I can use this to verify the UI object's properties. Is this correct? But if the UI's property does not match, how do I indicate to rational robotj that the test has failed?? Do you just write it to robotj's log file and parse the result yourself?
