Associate the object map at run time?
Is it possible to associate the Shared object map at runtime. For example I may have multiple object maps one for each build and I want to associate the object map dynamically basing on the external input. Is it possible or the object maps script specific?
Re: Associate the object map at run time?
A bit late, but what I've found is this...
when you call this method
in the helper constructor the object map is attached to the script object. You could even change the name to another script, and that object map would now be used.
If you know Java, you could derive a set of classes for each version, say class AUT_Version with the superclass being RationalTestScript, use the setScriptName() in the AUT_Version constructor to connect the object map to the AUT_Version object. Then add the object accessor methods to the AUT_Version class.
Each AUT_Version object would allow you to access a particular version of the application under test's object map.
