Packaging RobotJ scripts.
We have a data store named "Automation" (D:\Automation) under which we have subdirectory \wan\scripts\ and our RobotJ scripts, including the script containing the TestMain function, are in the "scripts" folder.(D:\Automation\wan\scripts\*.java)
We have packaged our scripts as "package wan.scripts". Now we are able to build the scripts successfully. But when we try to run it, RobotJ throws an error saying "Cannot find RobotJ scripts to Playback". Please let us know if we are missing anything??
Is there any documentation which says about packaging RobotJ scripts. Please help us.
Re: Packaging RobotJ scripts.
Since noone's answered, I played around with this a bit. Here's what I did.
right-click on default package in your script tree on the left
select New - other - Java - Java package
Give it a name and finish
right-click on the new package select new - class
I created 2 classes and put some variables in them. From a script in my default package, I was able to import the package, instantiate instances of this class and display the results. I then started a new script from the file menu and dragged it down into my new package. RobotJ wouldn't let me record into this script. I added some stuff manually and ended up with the same results you describe when I try to run it. I'd suggest trying to import your package from a script in the default-package and starting the execution from there.
