    Re: Function \'s return value in RobotJ

    An 'if' statement requires a boolean expression and Link_Name().waitForExistence() does not return a value.

    The simplest way to do what you want is to record a verification point. You can add a waitForExistence within the verification point if you expect the test object 'Link_Name' to take a while to appear.

    You can also do something like the following if you don't want to use a verification point for some reason.

    boolean bExists = true;

    try {
    Link_Name().waitForExistence(30, 1);
    } catch (ObjectNotFoundException e) {
    bExists = false;
    } finally {
    logTestResult("Login", bExists);

    Good Luck.

    Function \'s return value in RobotJ

    Hi all,

    How can I find such info ? I'm doing a verification point:
    logInfo("Login success");

    If this pass i can confirm that my login is successful but RobotJ issue an error "Type mismatch: can not convert from void to boolean"

    If there is no such info. What is the best way to work around this. Thanks
