Controls not getting seperated out in mapping and in script generation
Setup: The application is a complete Java client/server application. Using Java 1.4
When generating a map of the product, some of the same controls aren't
getting seperated out. In other words, it recognizes that I have three
seperate textboxes on a tab, however, when running a script back, it says it
can't locate them. When using the mapper and highlighting them all, it only
highlights the first textbox for all three. When trying to playback a script that I generated, it recognized the first textbox, but fails when trying to locate the other textboxes.
Does anyone have any clues on a workaround or solution? Has anyone else seen this?
Re: Controls not getting seperated out in mapping and in script generation
RobotJ isn't able to distinguish between the different textboxes. do your textboxes have unique id's? i.e. <INPUT TYPE="TEXT" ID="FirstBox" ... > this would definitely help.
you could post some html-code of the application. that would make it easier.
