I'm new to using RFT (my company has version 8.1) and we are running VB6 code (I did some Winrunner testing against PowerBuilder code in the past so am familiar with automated testing) and was wondering if it is at all straightforward to create a Verification Point for a VB6 ListView control. I want to be able to verify all the data in the listview regardless of how many rows are displayed.
This was relatively easy and straightforward in Winrunner when running PowerBuilder code but can't find the answer for RFT and VB6 (please note this is legacy VB6, not VB.NET).
I'm choosing to perform a Data Verification Point but only given the option to select "Text" in the drop down, I'm not given the choice to select "Table" which was what I was expecting. There are no other options to choose from other than "Text"
For some reason RFT is not seeing the ListView as a table and/or grid control but I can't seem to figure out how to fix it so that it does.
