    Using packages

I am using RFT 8.1 - Java Scripting

Can anybody tell how to create a package, and importing it into a script and use it.

Say creating a package with a set of Variables and functions.

    Package - Pack,
    Variables - Var1,Var2,Var3
    Functions - f1,f2

By importing the package "Pack" to a script can I use variables var1 and var2 in the imported script without declaring it.

    Re: Using packages

There's many way to do this.

    1) You can create a package using other JAVA programming tool and imported in RFT. Right click the RFT project then select "Java Build Path". Select the "Libraries" tab and import an external JAR. That's it.

    2) You can create package into RFT. Just change the perspective of RFT and go into the JAVA mode. Then you can create new packages just like you would in Eclipse.

Those are the two ways I'm currently doing it.
