Good morning. I've been having occasional issues after upgrading to v8 RFT. The strange thing is it's not happening on all our machines. I also seem to have to go in and re-enable the application and the environments every time I go in, again, only on two machines. I've verified Java versions, IE versions, pop-up blocks and virus scanners are the same and off respectively. IBM seems at a loss. Has anyone else had v8 related issues that could be related to java and or some possible AD pushes that could affect browser policies?
We execute RFT scripts from a batch file and in the same file we make sure to copy all external jar files to the customization folder before the RFT scripts are invoked so that we dont come across any exceptions.
We have also observed that the find() API takes a lot of time to identify the UI controls which increases the time taken to run the automated test case as compared to manually execute the test case.
