Object Map from Firefox recording
When I record a test using Firefox, I see that in the object map the classes of objects are something like -
MozillaUIWindowClass for Browser
.Text for textbox etc instead of HTML.input.text.
Why does this happen although I have configured my application as 'HTML' application?
Re: Object Map from Firefox recording
According to my perspective, Firefox is recorded as a different entity other than IE. So it would recognize according to the values defined in it. For example, if you type "about:config" in address bar of firefox you wud get all the details about the browser features such as pop up window, font, font color etc etc. This is actually a wonderful way of handling the other options of the browser. All the recordings happen according to the value defined it it. IE doesnt provide since it comes embedded with the OS.
