About changing Obejct\'s property in the ObjectMap

    Hi Guys,

Recently I'm working on local version software automation testing. I want to change the ".text" property of each object in the ObjectMap at run time to make one script work with all those languange versions.

If I use SetProperty() method, the FunctionalTester will set the property of the control of the app under test but not the object in the ObjectMap, are there any other ways to implement this?

    Thanks in advance!

    Any update?

I just want to change the ObjectMap via codes without real objects.

Re: About changing Obejct\'s property in the ObjectMap

Did you ever find a solution 5AM? Your solution is something I would be interested and have been researching as well. I'd rather set some test object code during runtime, but still modify these values using the Object Map.

In QTP I did something similar by using the SetTOProperty method for an object. This worked well and did exactly what you described. I find it hard to believe there isn't a comparable method in RFT.
