Hello experts,

We are looking to implement source control using IBM Rational ClearCase for our QTP test scripts. Can you tell me what are the files really needed to be source controlled? We don't want to version control any generated files/libraries. Only project settings and scripts will be source controlled and it should be possible to open and execute QTP test scripts from source control.

Has anyone implemnted source control using ClearCase? We can live without the ClearCase version control features within QTP.

We are using QTP 9.x. I understand that the objectrepository.bdb is a backup database file and need not be source controlled. However, when I open a QTP test with out this file, it errors "unexpected file format".

Any help/guidelines appreciated.

Thanks
Sunil
