Exporting only a single DT column to an Excel.
I was wondering how you set QTP to only export a single column of the Global Sheet to an excel spreadsheet. I'm trying to have this column export to Excel so that I can then import it back into the next script that I will run for this application. The data generated from my first script needs to be added to my second script, and right now I have to manually enter this data into the Global Sheet of my second script. If anyone know how this is done, I am new to QTP. I know the code for exporting the datatable is [Datatable.Export("C:\"folder name"\QTP.xls")], but I just want to export only one column of this sheet, not the entire thing. Any help would be much appreciated, thanks.

There is no direct way to do it. The only possible way is to export the whole sheet or tab first. Then open the excel file use Excel COM API (Search for Excel.Application on the forum for more details). Delete the unnecessary columns after that.
