QTP 9.2 crashes when using Automation Object Model
I use the Automation object model to run all my tests. I have a vbs file, that opens an Excel file that lists all the tests I want to run, and then runs them one at a time.
Since I have upgraded from 8.2 to 9.2 QTP has started to occasionally crash, which halts all test execution until an dialog stating QTP crashed has been clicked.
Is there any way to use the Automation Object Model to handle QTP crashes? I would like the script to close QTP and move on to the next test.
Re: QTP 9.2 crashes when using Automation Object Model
First check whether QTP crashes with that script even when you execute the script by clicking on Run or pressing F5. If yes, then AOM model has nothing to do with it.
You can close QTP after every script execution, but this will surely slow down your execution process.

Check whether it happens after some # of script being executed, whether it always fails on the same script, is there any pattern for failure?
