Hi Guru's, here's my issue(s):
I am attempting to automate a intranet based .NET Application. QTP is not actually identifying and recording the objects, it seems to only identify segmented ‘panels’ within the .NET application (which has the outlay of MS Outlook) and from there it can record a “coordinate” within that panel instead of finding actual lower level objects nested within those panels, like buttons or folder lists. When the recording gets played back, if the window is resized/moved, QTP clicks and misses objects like an analog recording! How do get it to identify the objects?
just to note: Have installed the add-in, however when starting up QTP the .NET add-in does not appear as an option to select on the add-in screen. I assumed it would be there, but it's not. But it installed without any problems. Is there any compatibility issues or am I doing wrong here?
Would really appreciate some feedback.
Thank you in advance.
