Object Not Visible Error following upgrade
Please excuse my very untechnical explanation!!
When I last used QTP, our .net product had been developed using custom .net controls from Infragisitics (version 2007 vol 1), therefore we used TestAdvantage of the same version. QTP worked beautifully.
I have since installed a new version of our product, which has been developed using the NetAdvantage version 2007 vol 3 - therefore I have updated my TestAdvantage accordingly.
when running the scripts in QTP, whenever I have a button to click, I am getting an object not visible error. If I use GetROProperty on the object I can confirm that the object's property visible = true. So I am at a loss as to why QTP thinks the object is not visible. This is consistent with any button that I need to click.
I am entering:
Previously this has worked with no issues. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what this maybe, how it could be fixed or a suitable work around.
if you need any more information, please let me know.
Re: Object Not Visible Error following upgrade
I have faced similar issue. When I raised the same to HP they did not returned with a proper solution
Is your application window is restroed so that the object QTP tries to focus is not visible?
Try accessing the object with maximized window state. I know this is not a relevant work around. But this worked for my application
