another subtle 9.2 to 9.5 upgrade problem
It is now known by many that browser.navigate silently fails after SOME PCs are upgraded from 9.2 to 9.5.
At my current client they have 3 network servers, each of which supports 5 login sessions.
After the upgrade one of those 15 sessions exhibited the browser.navigate problem. I deleted the account and recreated and the problem was gone.
Today on one of the other 14 sessions, one that apparently gets used very seldom I found that tests that ran quickly on another session were running slow of this one. Turns out the following statement:
<font class="small">Code:</font><hr /><pre>
if NOT Browser("blah").Exist then
Was spending 5-10 seconds in the .Exist method, when the browser was open. It would return the correct status, but VERY slowly.
Deleting the login session and recreating it solved the slow down, just as it solves the more lethal browser.navigate problem.
