Hope someone can help. I am testing a web app that contains a few WebLists. QTP has no issue manipulating the WebList. My problem is for readbility the lists contain what appears to be 7 leading spaces before the actual values. After looking into the source for the pages I have found instead of spaces this was used " " w/o the dbl quotes
The result appears to be 7 spaces with the non-breaking spaces and the normal spaces.
I need to select from the list based on value not index. So how can I pass these strange non-breaking spaces plus the normal spaces into my test?
Any help would be welcome.
Re: WebList problem
You could write new function which uses INSTR or a regular expression to decide which has the value you want to select, then select it use it's index
