My problem is that I have a Text box in my application. When a user does not enter a value, then through code itself I have prompted to enter a valid name.My Problem is how should I redirect to the line to enter a valid name?

if user enters a wrong value then QTP should ask him to enter correct value

Well... QTP is a testing Application!
The Original poster is saying something like this "I have a Text box in my application"
If the textbox is there inside the application and not the input parameter to the tool itself, why does she wants human interference to enter data manually again after knowing that is mandatory
by the wway MadhuShila your code is absolutely fine
I have already made my script do an alternative measure if the user doesn't enter any thing in the Text box.Its only my thinking to make my code behave in the manner that we usually do in programming
