Has anyone had issues with reports getting corrupted when they are stored in QC? Seems that sometimes I am able to view the reports through the Test Results Viewer connected to QC, and other times it sits there saying "downloading" and throws an error. One of the errors was an "OLE Error FFFFFFA9" if I recall correctly. Searching the forum did not hit any topics that made sense, so I figured I would ask.
Yes that is what I was asking. Our QC is setup to store things such as attachments and such in the database. Just to be sure, where do your results get stored out in the FS? Is it on the Quality Center server? If so, where do you get the file path from, that way I can check and be sure about my assumption that the reports follow the same concept as the attachments.
All such files are stored in QC server FS. And while accessing the reports they are download to the temp folder. I would suggest you to ask your company to provide another test instance of QTP which stores files on FS instead of DB.
