    Hi,
I am facing a problem. I need recovery scenario for any error which comes running the application.

Re: Recovery Scenario for any Error

As far as i understand your problem, you want to skip the current iteration of test and move to next iteration when any error message comes up.
If my understanding is right, then you can create a recovery scenario with post-recovery action you can set for next iteration. Refer help files to know more about post-recovery actions

Re: Recovery Scenario for any Error

Apologies for not being clear enough I was talking any sort of error generated by QTP. This may be error generated due to code.

    Snehalpailkar

U were telling me abt post-recovery option but i think that it is the third step after declaring error type.
When i dont know about error how can i use Post Recovery

    Thanks

Re: Recovery Scenario for any Error

While you create a recovery scenario using recovery scenario manager,

    1. Select "Test Run Error" radio button in step 1 - Select Trigger Event

    2. Then select "Any error" from the drop-down for Error

Steps 1 & 2 should take care of errors generated by QTP

Re: Recovery Scenario for any Error

    Hi manish,

Ur given error can be solved using post recovery option. But as u stated i too dont know how to capture properties related with it.

    Hi snehalpailkar,

It running good for any type of error but i want it to go to next iteration (datatable row) when any error comes. In my case QTP does not show any error but stop and show recovery scenario has worked but i need it go to next iteration i have tried all option in post recovery scenario but could not found any help.

    Thanks

Re: Recovery Scenario for any Error

You would need to remove on Error resume next for the recovery to be activated else it would not work.
