irritating dialog when adding RegEx OR Property
In both 9.2 and 9.5 (it not as well in 8.2) if you change an OR property to a regular expression and then click the "Regular Expression" checkbox, you get the irritating dialog that asks:
Do you want to add the backslash(\) before each special character in order to treat it literally?
In two years I have never wanted to answer "yes" (the friggin' default) to this question.
Does anyone know how to disable this dialog? I will be forever in your debt (well actually I will promise you this now, but will forget your name by morning... ), as I am creating an OR that has to be lang independent and therefore I am making major use of regEx in the OR defs.
Re: irritating dialog when adding RegEx OR Propert
Terry i always first check the checkbox and then change the value. In case there are any regular expression characters in the string then only you get the dialog. I doubt that there would be a setting for totally disabling the dialog.
