Re: How can we get the SystemName and IpConfigurat

First, follow the forum guidelines and do not post different questions in the same thread. Also keep in mind that this forum is not setup to provide basic training in QTP, rather it is focused on trying to help you answer questions that you have first tried to answer and resolve for yourself.

Your first question is not a QTP question but a WSH or WMI vbScripting question. While you might get an answer from someone who has need this information in a test script, you are much better off to follow the links and help provided in the FAQ entry:

    2 VBScript FAQ
    2.A http://www.sqaforums.com/showflat.php?Number=348942
    2.B http://www.w3schools.com/vbscript
2.C http://www.activexperts.com/activmon...t/adminscripts --many useful scripts and examples

Based on your 2nd question it appears you need to obtain some “basic training” in order to use QTP competently. Read and follow the information in the links below to obtain this competency:

First and most important, spend time with the tutorial that came with QTP.

Then read the QTP tips and tricks sticky posting:

    http://www.sqaforums.com/showflat.ph...;Number=220886

Before posting new topics read and follow this forum’s guidelines:

    http://www.sqaforums.com/showflat.ph...;Number=340109

When posting use the following template to provide information needed to get a useful answer:

    http://www.sqaforums.com/showflat.ph...;Number=359954

But, make sure you search the forum for answers to your question before posting:

    http://www.sqaforums.com/showflat.ph...;Number=365107

Never post the same question multiple times:
