The easiest way to do such a comparison is to load a all the values in the DB into a excel file and then use VLOOOKUP in that sheet with the CSV data also being there in the same sheet. This will allow you to check what data is extra and what is missing.
Iam sorry tarun. I think my post is not clear. In my global excel sheet 150 columns are there. The same columns are present in access database. I want to check the actual value which is in global sheet with expected in databse. I heard csv file can do better for this. can u suggest me the better one with example.
If I want to execute the query on access i need to use where clause with 150 parameters. which is not suggestable. Please give me the better solution
My solution was based on an assumption of a single column. But now i would suggest you to query both data and sort them on predefined column names and then you would need a ugly loop to do the comparison
