Can anyone enlighten me here - I've been having trouble with checkpoints (esp bitmap checkpoints) in QTP. I can define a CP fine, and generally it then works - however it seems at random, even when the defined bitmap checkpoint is on screen as defined, QTP fails to recognise it. More bizarrely in the latest incident, I commented out all code, and just did a "msgbox checkpoint result" bit of code (the CP copy and pasted from the "real" code), and it worked fine! Basically what Im trying to achieve is identify when what is effectively a progress dialog becomes an "operation completed successfully" dialog. Any hints? As I say, Ive mostly tried BMP CPs, but have also tried text area and so on...
Also, is there any way of browsing all defined checkpoints, and deleting redundant ones - a bit like tidying up the object repository? I'm damned if I can find one!
HUGE HUGE Thanks in advance for any guidance in the above!
