Scrolling to find an object in a Recovery Scenario
When running a test on a .NET form, if a given object is not visible on the page without scrolling, QTP throws an "Object not found" error. I'd like to script a Recovery Scenario for this that scrolls the page until the object is visible. How can I do this (or alternaively, is there a better option)?
The documentation for the recovery scenario shows that when I try this and the Save button is not on the screen:
SwfWindow("Trax Clinical Services").SwfWindow("Jacob, Joe").SwfButton("Save").Click
...the Recovery Scenario function is passsed this:
- Object as Object: The object of the current step.
I have tried things like:
- Object.parent.VScroll micPageDown
But QTP says that parent is not valid for this object.

Why don't you check Exist and then try and click. And as far as scrolling is concerned i am not sure how you came up with above code.
