clicking links in a pdf document
i'm using qtp 8.2 on win xp professional, sp2.
i open a url in ie 6 which opens a pdf document, within the browser. the document contains many hyperlinks, which in turn open browsers containing pdf. i have to learn the links dynamically. i tried using description.create, but it doesn't work. the links within pdf are recognized as web element. the only property that can help me is outerhtml.
i went thru dani's book on pdf, but it did not talk about working with hyperlinks in pdf. i want to get the url into a variable. then, i have to scan for some keywords & if i get that keyword, i have to click on that hyperlink.
Re: clicking links in a pdf document
You need to explore then. Since it is pdf it won't be the same way like the web pages or anything. I doubt that you will get any readymade help on this scenario but i might be wrong.
