    Using QTP with terminal services

We have QTP and our application that we are testing on a server. We use remote desktop to access them both and then try to record/playback against our application. The performance is pretty slow and doesn't really work for us. Does anyone have suggestions for an alternative? We have a concurrent license. I've heard Real VNC is an alternative, but not sure.

    Help please. Thanks,
    Terry

Re: Using QTP with terminal services

Real VNC is better (try tight VNC), but there are display issues. So it is probably better to use local PCs to do development, but the remote ones to run tests.

Re: Using QTP with terminal services

One more question, because I'm not exactly clear on how to do this based on our environment. Example, I currently remote from local machine to server where QTP and test app reside, and then I to create & run scripts. So would I use tight VNC to access QTP & test app? I can use QTP on local PCs, but still have to access app on another server.

Thanks for help...additional suggestions? Let me know if you need further details? Terry
