I am having difficulty finding the answer to this question. I have looked in this forum for a question like it but with no luck.
I am trying to record text input into an Iframe on a website. The Iframe contains a text box, which is used as the msg body for an email msg. Anything I type in that text box is not captured into QTP 9.2. It works when I select low level recording, however that does not work well in my situation.
I am using QTP v9.2 running web addin on IE7
I am fairly new to QTP, so if there is a way to fix this in the keyword view please let me know, as I am not familiar with the Expert view.
Could you please give detailed answer how to operate by the edit field witch is recognized as iFrame? (For example iFrame properties are Class:=Frame, html id:=comment_ifr).
Search of forum doens't give any clear result.
Thanks in advance for help.
yes. And I failed.
For the next row
.Frame("area_comment").WebElement("Class Name:=WebElement"," index:=0").object.innerText ="test"
it returns the error that WebElement object's description matches more than one of the objects currently displayed in your application.
Maybe I have to use something instead of "object" but I don't know what...
