    How to check whether the file is existing or not?

    Hi,

    How to know whether the file is existing or not in a folder (for instance, "C:\WINDOWS\Downloaded Program Files\")?

    Thank you.

    some thing like this, then you standing in C:\...\..files\:

    dim filespec
    filespec=filename
    Dim fso, msg
    Set fso = CreateObject("Scripting.FileSystemObject")
    If (fso.FileExists(filespec)) Then
    msg = filespec & " exists."
    Else
    msg = filespec & " doesn't exist."
    End If
