sending mail thru QTP
I have an issue in QTP. Let me explain you the scenario
A test script is executed and the results are stored in an excel file
Compose a new mail in Outlook and the excel file (which contains the test execution results) is attached and send to an email id
The email should be successfully sent.
The issue we are facing is once the test results are stored in excel file, the attachment excel file is stored in one location and the attachment in outlook is trying to open recently accessed folder in outlook in which the excel file is not present and it throws an error. Is there any work around to store the path of the excel file (which contains the test execution results) in script and outlook can automatically pick up the excel file as an attachment in new composing mail and send it successfully. Pl. let me know if you require any clarifications on this issue so that I can explain in detail.
