I have 2 pages with different urls. Basically they are a login page and login failed page, they are identical but with different urls. Since they don't appear at the same time, I want to treat them as the same object. However, OR always recognise them as 2 separate pages.
I have tried to use the title as the only identification property. ie. set title = "Log in page", but still when I tried to use the login failed page, QTP cannot recognise it.
The weired problem is that I can using DL to recognise the pages like:
set pg = Description.Creat
pg("title") = "Log in page"
and it works for both pages..
I am not sure why it is not working for the OR with calls like:
I just want to have a single entry of the page in the OR. It seems that QTP having problems with it. :S
For example, i have 2 pages, page1 and page2. They are identical, but page2 has some additional controls. I have already got page1 in my repository, and I have set the descriptive attributes to .* for the page. but everytime when i add a control from page 2, a new page object is created.
