Facing object identification pblm with .NET object
I am using QTP 9.1 to automation web applications develpoed in .NET. Here we different QA environments. The problem I am facing is identifying the objects accross environments. The object names change after every new build of the code. The naming is done by the .NET framework and so there is no control over it. For eg: a text box maybe named "First_Name" in one build, on the next it may be named "User1".
Did any of you face an issue like this? If so it would be helpful if you would give me suggestions on how to solve this problem. I am using DP for object identification.

I don't think it should be so dynamic. You should talk to your developers and see why its happening. A first_Name changing to FirstName, txtFirstName etc... can be thought of but not to User1.
I would suggest you to make sure that if there is nothing from developers side that can be done to avoid this...there could be configurations for names in the software being used for development, but developers might not be using them.
