Actually while doing framework if I have created a function library and within that there are a no. of functions written (say for 10 or more). And within
Each function I have parameterized some of the fields of the application. So there are columns created in one of the sheets (say for global/local) in the data table.
So now if I execute the library file in another test (Framework script) and call the functions written inside that then the parameterized steps would be failed
As the corresponding data table sheet will not be there from where it will get the values for the parameterized fields. So can you suggest me how does the
Global/local sheets can be called as it happens in action calls (when you call any action from another test the corresponding data sheet gets called with that).
This approach is wrong as it creates a dependency of your functions on the DataTables. You should use function parameters for passing value. Then you can pass datatable values then through the scripts.
