    Is Option Buttons in Input Box possible?

    Hi,
    Can we include Option Buttons in a InputBox?
    Is that possible?
    If so, please help me with your valuable Ideas.

    Thanks,
    Leslie V

    Its because, due to the following scenario...

    Check what to do?
    <Option 1> Process before 5 seconds
    <Option 2> Process before 10 seconds
    <OK> <Cancel>

    Why not put out a message saying input 5 for before 5 process, enter 10 for before 10 second process.

    In the code check the return from the InputBox statement and process if 5 or 10, respond to user if invalid value input.

    Yeah as per your perspection its correct, yes. Why means: If I ask user to enter for value, user may enter Process before 5 seconds or second-> here there is no s after second... It may lead to problem and increase in writing code...
    That is why I had an idea of providing Option button...
    Is that possible ;-( ?

    Shouldn't be too much code, something like:

    '================================================= ======
    msg="Enter 5 For < 5 Second Process"&vbCrLf&_
    "Or Enter 10 For < 10 Second Process"
    While Not opt=5 And Not opt=10
    opt=InputBox(msg,"Select Process",5)
    Wend
    MsgBox opt
    Select Case opt
    Case 5
    MsgBox "Option 5 Chosen"
    Case 10
    MsgBox "Option 10 Chosen"
    End Select
    '================================================= ===========

    OK...
    The code cleared the doubt and I am going to have a try using this Select case code snippet...

    Thanks a lot Mark Smith.

    Yes you can display your website address in your signature. It is not against forum rules.

    A straight-up QTP InputBox can not have cannot have "option buttons" or the like. It supports the single edit field.

    I realize at this point workarounds have been suggested; I just wanted to answer the original question.

    Option Buttons and InputBox are 2 different things. What you are looking for?
